East to West

The first east to west Christian Youth Work Conference kicked off this morning and what a day it was, too! With plenaries from Chris Curtis (www.schoolswork.co.uk) and Terry Redding (Former Surrey School Head & Champion of Relational Schools Youth Work) as well as several seminars and debates, the day was an incredible success and we'd like to thank everyone involved for their input and enthusiasm. east to west Trust has today received the Surrey High Sheriff's Award, which contributes funds towards positive and pioneering initiatives within our communities. The award has been given to support the work of the new upcoming Police Community Youth Pastor Project which will begin in September of this year in the parishes of Egham and Egham Hythe. The eBay Giving Project is all about raising funds to help us make a difference in our community. If you'd like to help us all you need to do you is to gather together any objects of value you don’t want or need and either bring them to the east to west offices or call us and we’ll collect them! All items will then be photographed and sold on eBay to the highest bidder! All proceeds from the auction will be put towards ministries such as the Relational Schools Worker or Police Community Youth Pastor projects. For more information please click here!
